Welcome to Don’t Dream, Just Travel!
A good friend told me a few years ago to stop dreaming about all the traveling I wanted to do and just do it. I have been a freelance musician most of my life. Travel was mostly out of the question unless it had something to do with performing or going on tour. I didn’t earn much but have since found creative ways to visit dozens of countries!
Over the years I have lived on three continents and experienced some beautiful places, wonderful cultural experiences, and scary situations. I’m here to share all of this with you. This won’t just be the glamorous side of travel. I will definitely cover the nitty-gritty and some of the negative aspects of traveling, alongside the overwhelmingly wonderful reasons to pack up and go!
Through this blog, I want to share my approach to budget friendly travel, along with some of the pictures, stories, advice, experiences, and meals that I and my lifelong travel companion Andreas love the most. We hope to inspire you through our experiences to also start traveling.
I know that many people are in the same boat. Maybe you are inspired to travel, but you haven’t taken the leap yet. I hope through this site you will find that your dreams can actually come true and you will be inspired to start traveling, too. It’s easier than you think!
